Hours for Adult Lap Swim
Monday - Thursday: 5 AM - 8 PM

Hours for Open Swim

No one under the age of 18 is permitted in the pool during non-open swim hours.

All youth 13 and under must be swim tested; please ask a lifeguard for more information.

SPLASH PAD PARK
Our Splash Pad will operate from Memorial Day through Labor Day (weather permitting). The temperature must be 72 degrees to open and it will close for inclement weather. Children under 10 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Closed for the 2024 Season.

The Splash Pad is available to rent for special events and birthdays!
ROCK WALL
Our 24 ft-high, 20 ft-wide, state-of-the-art rock wall has 4 climbing lanes.
Climbing is permitted only with a YMCA supervisor present during the scheduled hours of operation.
Regular Hours
Monday - Wednesday: 4 PM - 7 PM
Thursday: 4 PM - 6 PM
Saturday: 10:30 AM - 1:30 PM
Rules

Climbing requires a YMCA issued harness, no outside harness allowed.

Climbing shoes are required – an attendant will provide.

Children under 10 require adult supervision. Parents / guardians are responsible for your children.

No horseplay, food or drink is permitted in the rock wall area.
-
Shirts and appropriate clothing are required.
-
Liquid chalk is preferred – please leave little trace.
-
Climbing is prohibited without a YMCA staff member present.
-
Teaching / instruction by YMCA staff only.
-
Everyone must complete a waiver prior to climbing.
CHILD WATCH HOURS
Child watch is provided FREE for full-pay YMCA of North Central Ohio household members, with children ages 6 months-7 years old during the following hours.

Monday-Friday: 9 AM - 1 PM
Monday - Thursday: 4:30 PM - 8 PM
Saturday: 9 AM - 12 PM
Non-household Membership and Guest Cost
$3.00 for 1 child
$2.00 for each additional child
*90-minute limit per day. $5 per child fee for every
15 minutes over 90 minutes.
*Only 8 children are allowed at one time.
*Peanut-free classroom

Are meals provided?Yes. Breakfast, lunch and snacks are provided. We do not allow outside food unless there is a medical reason.

Does Child Care ever close? What about weather?Our sites close based on the YMCA closure schedule and two professional development days each year. WMFD.com and the ProCare app will alert you of all closures.

What does the Step Up To Quality star rating mean?Step Up To Quality (SUTQ) is a five-star quality rating and improvement system administered by the Ohio Department of Education and the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services. SUTQ recognizes and promotes learning and development programs that meet quality program standards that exceed preschool licensing and school age child care licensing health and safety regulations. Step Up To Quality program standards are based on national research identifying standards which lead to improved outcomes for children.

Are the Child Care providers certified?Yes, all employees have a thorough background check, CPR, first aid, communicable disease training, child abuse training, and many more continuing education courses.

Is there a curriculum?Yes, our staff gets planning time similar to a school system. Each classroom has lesson plans each day to enhance social, emotional, and educational learning.
