Are meals provided?Yes. Breakfast, lunch and snacks are provided. We do not allow outside food unless there is a medical reason.

Does Child Care ever close? What about weather?Our sites close based on the YMCA closure schedule and two professional development days each year. WMFD.com and the ProCare app will alert you of all closures.

What does the Step Up To Quality star rating mean?Step Up To Quality (SUTQ) is a five-star quality rating and improvement system administered by the Ohio Department of Education and the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services. SUTQ recognizes and promotes learning and development programs that meet quality program standards that exceed preschool licensing and school age child care licensing health and safety regulations. Step Up To Quality program standards are based on national research identifying standards which lead to improved outcomes for children.

Are the Child Care providers certified?Yes, all employees have a thorough background check, CPR, first aid, communicable disease training, child abuse training, and many more continuing education courses.

Is there a curriculum?Yes, our staff gets planning time similar to a school system. Each classroom has lesson plans each day to enhance social, emotional, and educational learning.
